Free Quran distribution project

The Islamic Circle of Aotearoa (ICA) is proud to offer a free Quran distribution service to all New Zealanders interested in learning about Islam. This initiative is completely free of charge, aiming to provide easy access to the holy Quran for those seeking knowledge and understanding of the Islamic faith.
To receive a free copy of the Quran, simply send us a request via our weblink, and we will promptly dispatch a copy to your address.
In addition to distributing the Quran, ICA offers mentoring and support for new revertees. Our dedicated group of volunteers, spread across New Zealand, is committed to helping new brothers and sisters in their journey of learning and embracing Islam.
Join us in promoting understanding, knowledge, and unity by taking advantage of this valuable service.

Karori Muslim community center

Karori, Wellington, one of the largest suburbs in New Zealand, is home to over 80 Muslim families. Despite this significant population, there was no mosque or musallah in Karori or its neighboring suburbs. The nearest mosque was approximately 10 kilometers away, requiring about 25 minutes of travel.
Recognizing this need, the Islamic Circle of Aotearoa (ICA) took the initiative in 2023 to establish the Karori Muslim Community Centre. Alhamdulillah, since then, the centre has become a vibrant hub for the local Muslim community.
The Karori Muslim Community Centre offers five daily prayers and Jummah (Friday) prayers. In addition, it hosts monthly Islamic lectures and various workshops to enrich the community’s spiritual and educational growth.
The Karori Muslim Community Centre is located at 274 Karori Road, Wellington. We welcome all to join us in our activities and prayers.

Islamic school for kids

In 2023, the Islamic Circle of Aotearoa (ICA) proudly launched an Islamic school for kids, aiming to provide quality Islamic education and instill good moral values in our young generation. Initially, the school operated for a couple of hours one day a week. However, due to its successful launch and continuous demand from parents, we extended the program to two days a week in 2024. Inshallah, we are now planning to further extend it to three days a week.
Currently, our school serves around 24 children, aged 4 to 15 years. A dedicated team of volunteers and paid staff work together to teach the students Islamic values and good moral conduct. The school is a free-of-cost service, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
Our students follow a structured syllabus, and their knowledge is regularly tested to ensure they are meeting educational goals.
If any parents wish to enroll their children, please send a message to info@ica.org.nz or contact the administration at the Karori Muslim Community Centre.
Join us in nurturing the next generation with strong Islamic principles and values.
